2012 Presidential Race, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney

Obama didn’t get Gadhafi quick enough?

I’ve been out of the loop for a while but I just had to get back in with this one. So Moammar Gadhafi is dead. Another tyrant gone. It took a few months and didn’t cost one American casualty. Yet future (Vice) Presidential wanna be Marco Rubio has the nerve to go on Fox News to say that Obama didn’t do it quick enough. That it all should have been done much sooner?

Is boy wonder Rubio aware that we are still fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq after 10 years, the longest war in American history. Or maybe he is too busy  burnishing his right-wing creds so he can be Mitt Romney’s running mate in next year’s campaign. Either way it is disgusting how foreign policy triumphs are used by the Republicans to attack Obama. You’d think they could find enough to quibble about at home without attacking an actual accomplishment.

Hey Marco, getting rid of Gadhafi relatively quickly with no loss of American lives was a good thing for the country. Sorry it was also a good thing for Obama. That happens sometimes, get over it.
